Grant Application

The Community Foundation awards Excellence Grants to nonprofits that create meaningful change in the greater Lafayette, California community. These grants typically range from $1,000 to $10,000, with most falling under $4,000. All grant recipients are required to submit a brief mid-year impact report by March 1 of the following year to remain eligible for future funding cycles.

Timeline:
Applications and supporting documents are due by March 31, 2026. Awarded grantees will be notified by June 1, with a check presentation ceremony in mid-June. Please note, this timeline has been condensed compared to previous years.

The grant application will be available on February 1, 2026.
